ततः कुमारं सा देवी प्राप्तकालमजीजनत् ।
पाण्डुं लक्षणसंपन्नं दीप्यमानमिव श्रिया ।
तस्य पुत्रा महेष्वासा जज्ञिरे पञ्च पाण्डवाः ॥२१॥

21.
Thereafter, that queen gave birth at the proper time to a son, Pāṇḍu, who was endowed with auspicious marks and shone as if with splendor. From him, five sons, great archers, the Pāṇḍavas, were born.
