महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-100, verse-15

ततस्तेनैव विधिना महर्षिस्तामपद्यत ।
अम्बालिकामथाभ्यागादृषिं दृष्ट्वा च सापि तम् ।
विषण्णा पाण्डुसंकाशा समपद्यत भारत ॥१५॥
15. tatastenaiva vidhinā maharṣistāmapadyata ,
ambālikāmathābhyāgādṛṣiṁ dṛṣṭvā ca sāpi tam ,
viṣaṇṇā pāṇḍusaṁkāśā samapadyata bhārata.
15. tataḥ tena eva vidhinā maharṣiḥ
tām apadyata ambālikām atha ṛṣim
dṛṣṭvā ca sā api tam abhyāgāt viṣaṇṇā
pāṇḍusaṅkāśā samapadyata bhārata
15. Then, by that very method, the great sage approached Ambalika. And then, having seen the sage, she also approached him, becoming sorrowful and pale, O Bhārata.
