दुर्गा-सप्तशती       durgā-saptaśatī - chapter-8, verse-60

स पपात महीपृष्ठे शस्त्रसंहतितो हतः ।
नीरक्तश्च महीपाल रक्तबीजो महासुरः ॥६०॥
60. sa papāta mahīpṛṣṭhe śastrasaṃhatito hataḥ .
nīraktaśca mahīpāla raktabījo mahāsuraḥ.

60. O King, that great demon Raktabīja, struck and killed by the shower of weapons, fell to the surface of the earth, drained of all blood.
