दुर्गा-सप्तशती       durgā-saptaśatī - chapter-8, verse-22

ततो देवोशरीरात्तु विनिष्क्रान्तातिभीषणा ।
चण्डिकाशक्तिरत्युग्रा शिवाशतनिनादिनी ॥२२॥
22. tato devośarīrāttu viniṣkrāntātibhīṣaṇā .
caṇḍikāśaktiratyugrā śivāśataninādinī.
22. tataḥ devī-śarīrāt tu viniṣkrāntā ati-bhīṣaṇā
| caṇḍikā-śaktiḥ aty-ugrā śiva-śata-ninādinī
22. Then, from the body of the Goddess, emerged the extremely terrifying, exceedingly fierce power (śakti) of Caṇḍikā, whose roar was like that of a hundred jackals.
