दुर्गा-सप्तशती       durgā-saptaśatī - chapter-13, verse-39

रक्षांसि भूतान्यसुरांस्तथोग्रान्निर्नाशयन्तस्त्वशिवं प्रजानाम् ।
आद्याः सुराणाममरेशपूज्या तृप्यन्तु तेऽस्मिन् प्रणतोऽस्मि तेभ्यः ॥३९॥
39. rakṣāṃsi bhūtānyasurāṃstathogrānnirnāśayantastvaśivaṃ prajānām .
ādyāḥ surāṇāmamareśapūjyā tṛpyantu te'smin praṇato'smi tebhyaḥ.
39. rakṣāṃsi bhūtāni asurān tathā ugrān
nirnāśayantaḥ tu aśivam prajānām
ādyāḥ surāṇām amareśa-pūjyāḥ tṛpyantu
te asmin praṇataḥ asmi tebhyaḥ
39. May those (ancestors) who destroy demons, evil spirits, and fierce asuras, thus removing the inauspiciousness for beings, and who are the primeval among the gods, worshipped even by the lords of the immortals, be pleased here. I offer my salutations to them.
