दुर्गा-सप्तशती       durgā-saptaśatī - chapter-13, verse-10

कामं चेममभिध्याय क्रियतां पितृपूजनम् ।
त एव तुष्टाः पितरः प्रदास्यन्ति तवेप्सितान् ॥१०॥
10. kāmaṃ cemamabhidhyāya kriyatāṃ pitṛpūjanam .
ta eva tuṣṭāḥ pitaraḥ pradāsyanti tavepsitān.
10. kāmam ca imam abhidhyāya kriyatām pitṛpūjanam
te eva tuṣṭāḥ pitaraḥ pradāsyanti tava īpsitān
10. Desiring this (result), one should meditate and perform ancestral worship (pitṛpūjanam). For those pleased ancestors (pitaraḥ) will indeed grant all your desires.
