योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-173, verse-9

चित एव यथा स्वप्ने भवेत्काष्ठोपलादिता ।
चिदाकाशस्य सर्गादौ तथैवावयवादिता ॥ ९ ॥
cita eva yathā svapne bhavetkāṣṭhopalāditā ,
cidākāśasya sargādau tathaivāvayavāditā 9

9. Just as consciousness (cit) itself takes on the appearance of wood, stone, etc., in a dream, so too, at the beginning of creation, the pure consciousness (citākāśa) takes on the nature of having parts and divisions.
