योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-133, verse-30

नभश्चरा ऊचुः ।
बद्ध्वा खट्वाङ्गश्रृङ्गे कपिलमुरुजटामण्डलं पद्मयोनेः कृत्वा दैत्योत्तमाङ्गैः स्रजमुरसि शिरःशेखरं तार्क्ष्यपक्षैः ।
या देवी भुक्तविश्वा पिबति जगदिदं साद्रिभू पीठभूतं सा देवी निष्कलङ्का कलिततनुलता पातु नः पालनीयान् ॥ ३० ॥

baddhvā khaṭvāṅgaśrṛṅge kapilamurujaṭāmaṇḍalaṃ padmayoneḥ kṛtvā daityottamāṅgaiḥ srajamurasi śiraḥśekharaṃ tārkṣyapakṣaiḥ ,
yā devī bhuktaviśvā pibati jagadidaṃ sādribhū pīṭhabhūtaṃ sā devī niṣkalaṅkā kalitatanulatā pātu naḥ pālanīyān 30

30. nabhaścarāḥ ūcuḥ yā devī,
padmayoneḥ kapilam urujaṭāmaṇḍalam khaṭvāṅgaśṛṅge baddhvā,
daityottamāṅgaiḥ urasi srajam,
tārkṣyapakṣaiḥ śiraḥśekharam kṛtvā,
bhuktaviśvā,
idam jagat sādribhū pīṭhabhūtam pibati,
sā niṣkalaṅkā kalitatanulatā devī naḥ pālanīyān pātu
30. The sky-dwellers said: May that spotless goddess (devī), whose body is adorned with creeper-like forms, protect us, who are to be protected. She is the one who, having bound the tawny, vast mass of matted hair of Brahmā (padmayoni) to the horns of a khaṭvāṅga staff, and having fashioned a garland for her chest from the heads of foremost demons and a head-crest from the wings of Garuda (tārkṣya), has consumed the universe (viśva) and drinks this world (jagat) with its mountains and lands as if it were a mere seat.
