योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-133, verse-19

आसीत्तत्पतनं तस्य मेरुशैलशिलाकृतेः ।
दलनं शैलश्रृङ्गाणां विदारणकरं भुवः ॥ १९ ॥
āsīttatpatanaṃ tasya meruśailaśilākṛteḥ ,
dalanaṃ śailaśrṛṅgāṇāṃ vidāraṇakaraṃ bhuvaḥ 19
19. āsīt tat patanam tasya meru-śaila-śilā-kṛteḥ
dalanam śaila-śṛṅgāṇām vidāraṇa-karam bhuvaḥ
19. meru-śaila-śilā-kṛteḥ tasya tat patanam,
śaila-śṛṅgāṇām dalanam,
bhuvaḥ vidāraṇa-karam āsīt.
19. The fall of that being, whose form was like rock from Mount Meru, was the shattering of mountain peaks and the rending of the earth.
