योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-133, verse-21

पातनं भूतले भानोः स्थगनं द्वीपपद्धतेः ।
चूर्णीकरणमद्रीणां दलनं मण्डलावनेः ॥ २१ ॥
pātanaṃ bhūtale bhānoḥ sthaganaṃ dvīpapaddhateḥ ,
cūrṇīkaraṇamadrīṇāṃ dalanaṃ maṇḍalāvaneḥ 21
21. pātanam bhū-tale bhānoḥ sthaganam dvīpa-paddhateḥ
cūrṇī-karaṇam adrīṇām dalanam maṇḍala-avaneḥ
21. bhānoḥ bhū-tale pātanam,
dvīpa-paddhateḥ sthaganam,
adrīṇām cūrṇī-karaṇam,
maṇḍala-avaneḥ dalanam.
21. It was the falling of the sun (bhānu) onto the earth's surface, the obstruction of the arrangement of continents, the pulverization of mountains, and the shattering of the entire circle of the earth.
