15. What is there, when remembered, that does not fill the heart with a nectar-like delight? Oh young girl, through the elixir of sexual pleasure (surata) in union with you, I became exhausted from excessive contentment. I lay there on a soft bed, as if on the autumn-cool, pure and radiant disc of the moon.

15. או מה מכל אלה אינו מעורר בלב שמחה הדומה לטעמו של שיקוי האלמוות, כשאני נזכר בו? נערתי, באיחוד איתך, מתוך שובע עצום משיקוי תענוג האהבה ועייפות מרוב מאמץ, נחתי שם על המצע הרך כמו בתוך הילה צוננת, טהורה וזורחת של ירח סתיו.
