मौर्ख्यं हि बन्धनमवेहि परं महात्मन्बद्धो न बद्ध इति चेतसि तद्विमुक्त्यै ।
आत्मोदयं त्रिजगदात्ममयं समस्तं मौर्ख्ये स्थितस्य सहसा ननु सर्वभूमिः ॥ ३१ ॥

31.
O great soul (mahātman), know that foolishness is indeed the supreme bondage. For liberation from that (bondage), the mind (cetas) remains caught in the thought, 'I am bound, not unbound.' Indeed, for one who is established in foolishness, the entire manifestation of the Self (ātman), which pervades the three worlds, cannot suddenly become the universal state (sarvabhūmi).
