योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-34, verse-33

नानाघटपटाकारैश्चेतःस्थितिमुपागतम् ।
तदेवाशु शमं नेयं मिथ्यायक्ष इवोत्थितः ॥ ३३ ॥
nānāghaṭapaṭākāraiścetaḥsthitimupāgatam ,
tadevāśu śamaṃ neyaṃ mithyāyakṣa ivotthitaḥ 33
33. nānāghaṭapaṭākāraiḥ cetaḥsthitim upāgatam | tat
eva āśu śamam neyam mithyāyakṣaḥ iva utthitaḥ ||
33. nānāghaṭapaṭākāraiḥ cetaḥsthitim upāgatam tat
eva āśu śamam neyam utthitaḥ mithyāyakṣaḥ iva
33. The mind, having assumed the forms of various pots, cloths, and other objects, should be quickly brought to tranquility (śama), just like an illusory Yakṣa that has appeared.
