योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-34, verse-32

वासनावलितं चित्तमिह स्थितिमुपागतम् ।
तदेव तद्विनिर्मुक्तं विमुक्तमिति कथ्यते ॥ ३२ ॥
vāsanāvalitaṃ cittamiha sthitimupāgatam ,
tadeva tadvinirmuktaṃ vimuktamiti kathyate 32
32. vāsanāvalitam cittam iha sthitim upāgatam | tat
eva tat vinirmuktam vimuktam iti kathyate ||
32. iha vāsanāvalitam cittam sthitim upāgatam
tat eva tat vinirmuktam vimuktam iti kathyate
32. The mind (citta) entangled by latent tendencies (vāsanā) attains a state of being in this world. That very same mind, when completely freed from those tendencies, is then said to be liberated (vimukta).
