योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-92, verse-21

पौरुषेण मनः कृत्वा नीरागं विगतज्वरम् ।
माण्डव्येन जिताः क्लेशाः शूलप्रान्तेऽपितिष्ठता ॥ २१ ॥
pauruṣeṇa manaḥ kṛtvā nīrāgaṃ vigatajvaram ,

21. Having made the mind (manas) dispassionate (nīrāga) and free from agitation (vigatajvara) through human effort (pauruṣa), the sage Maṇḍavya conquered the afflictions (kleśa) even while standing at the tip of a stake.
