योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-92, verse-14

पौरुषं स्वमवष्टभ्य धैर्यमालम्ब्य शाश्वतम् ।
यदि तिष्ठत्यगम्योऽसौ दुःखानां तदनिन्दितः ॥ १४ ॥
pauruṣaṃ svamavaṣṭabhya dhairyamālambya śāśvatam ,
yadi tiṣṭhatyagamyo'sau duḥkhānāṃ tadaninditaḥ 14
14. pauruṣam svam avaṣṭabhya dhairyam ālambya śāśvatam
yadi tiṣṭhati agamyaḥ asau duḥkhānām tat aninditaḥ
14. yadi asau svam pauruṣam avaṣṭabhya śāśvatam dhairyam
ālambya duḥkhānām agamyaḥ tiṣṭhati tat aninditaḥ
14. If a person, relying on their own effort (pauruṣa) and taking hold of eternal fortitude, remains untouched by sorrows, then they are indeed blameless.
