योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-19, verse-16

आसन्नमरणस्याथ भार्या म्लानिमुपाययौ ।
तस्य शाम्यति पुष्पर्तौ लतेव ग्रीष्मभीतितः ॥ १६ ॥
āsannamaraṇasyātha bhāryā mlānimupāyayau ,
tasya śāmyati puṣpartau lateva grīṣmabhītitaḥ 16
16. āsannamaraṇasya atha bhāryā mlānim upāyayau
tasya śāmyati puṣpartau latā iva grīṣmabhītitaḥ

tasya puṣpartau śāmyati latā iva grīṣmabhītitaḥ
16. Then, the wife of the man whose death was imminent also withered away. She was like a creeper that wilts from fear of summer when its flowering season subsides, just as his (the brahmin's) own 'flowering season' (vitality) was fading.
