योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-19, verse-15

हिमाशनिरिवाम्भोजं जर्जरीकर्तुमादृता ।
जले जर्जरितेवाथ जरा द्विजमुपाययौ ॥ १५ ॥
himāśanirivāmbhojaṃ jarjarīkartumādṛtā ,
jale jarjaritevātha jarā dvijamupāyayau 15
15. himāśaniḥ iva ambhojam jarjarīkartum ādṛtā
jale jarjaritā iva atha jarā dvijam upāyayau
15. atha jarā dvijam himāśaniḥ iva ambhojam
jarjarīkartum ādṛtā jale jarjaritā iva upāyayau
15. Then, old age (jarā) approached the brahmin, eager to shatter him like a hailstone shatters a lotus, and appearing as withered as if she herself had been shattered in water.
