योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-120, verse-27

एवं लपन्तीं स्वकलत्रवृद्धां दासीभिराश्वास्य नृपः स्त्रियं ताम् ।
पप्रच्छ किंवृत्तमिहैव का च का ते सुता कश्च सुतस्तवेति ॥ २७ ॥
evaṃ lapantīṃ svakalatravṛddhāṃ dāsībhirāśvāsya nṛpaḥ striyaṃ tām ,
papraccha kiṃvṛttamihaiva kā ca kā te sutā kaśca sutastaveti 27
27. evam lapantīm svakalatravṛddhām dāsībhiḥ
āśvāsya nṛpaḥ striyam tām |
papraccha kimvṛttam iha eva kā ca kā te
sutā kaḥ ca sutaḥ tava iti || 27 ||
27. dāsībhiḥ āśvāsya,
evam lapantīm svakalatravṛddhām tām striyam nṛpaḥ papraccha – "iha eva kimvṛttam? kā ca? te kā sutā? ca tava kaḥ sutaḥ?" iti.
27. After the maidservants had consoled that old woman, his wife, who was lamenting in this manner, the king asked her: "What has happened here? And who are you? Who is your daughter? And who is your son?"
