हा राजपुत्रेन्दुसमानकान्त संत्यज्य शुद्धान्तविलासिनीस्ताः ।
रतिं प्रयातोऽसि ममात्मजायां न सापि ते सुस्थिरतामुपेता ॥ २० ॥
hā rājaputrendusamānakānta saṃtyajya śuddhāntavilāsinīstāḥ ,
ratiṃ prayāto'si mamātmajāyāṃ na sāpi te susthiratāmupetā 20
20. hā rājaputrendusamānakānta saṃtyajya
śuddhāntavilāsinīḥ tāḥ |
ratim prayātaḥ asi mama ātmajāyām
na sā api te susthiratām upetā ||
20. hā rājaputrendusamānakānta tāḥ

20. Alas, O prince, whose splendor was like the moon, having abandoned those pleasure-women of the harem, you sought delight in my daughter. But even she did not attain permanence for you.
20. אוי הנסיך, היפה והקורן כמו הירח! לאחר שנטשת את נשות הארמון המפוארות, מצאת אהבה ונחמה בבתי; אך אפילו היא לא נותרה עמך לאורך זמן.
