योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-2, chapter-7, verse-5

यथा संवेदनं चेतस्तथा तत्स्पन्दमृच्छति ।
तथैव कायश्चलति तथैव फलभोक्तृता ॥ ५ ॥
yathā saṃvedanaṃ cetastathā tatspandamṛcchati ,
tathaiva kāyaścalati tathaiva phalabhoktṛtā 5
5. yathā saṃvedanam cetas tathā tat spandam ṛcchati
tathā eva kāyaḥ calati tathā eva phala-bhoktṛtā
5. yathā cetas saṃvedanam tathā tat spandam ṛcchati
tathā eva kāyaḥ calati tathā eva phala-bhoktṛtā
5. Just as the mind (cetas) perceives, so it experiences that sensation. In the same way, the body moves, and similarly, one experiences the fruits of actions (phalabhoktṛtā).
