योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-2, chapter-7, verse-12

अशुभेषु समाविष्टं शुभेष्वेवावतारयेत् ।
प्रयत्नाच्चित्तमित्येष सर्वशास्त्रार्थसंग्रहः ॥ १२ ॥
aśubheṣu samāviṣṭaṃ śubheṣvevāvatārayet ,
prayatnāccittamityeṣa sarvaśāstrārthasaṃgrahaḥ 12

12. One should diligently direct the mind (citta) – when it is engrossed in negative pursuits – towards positive ones. This, indeed, is the essence of all scriptural teachings.
