वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-61, verse-5

ऋषयो ऽप्यद्य पापात्मन्मया त्वां निहतं रणे ।
पश्यन्तु विप्रा विद्वांसस्त्रिदशा इव रावणम् ॥५॥
5. ṛṣayo'pyadya pāpātmanmayā tvāṃ nihataṃ raṇe ,
paśyantu viprā vidvāṃsastridaśā iva rāvaṇam.
5. ṛṣayaḥ api adya pāpātman mayā tvām nihatam raṇe
paśyantu viprāḥ vidvāṃsaḥ tridaśāḥ iva rāvaṇam
5. pāpātman adya mayā raṇe tvām nihatam ṛṣayaḥ api

5. O evil-souled (ātman) one, let the sages, wise Brahmins, and divine beings witness you slain by me in battle today, just as (they witnessed) Ravana.
