वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-61, verse-11

ततो बाणमयं वर्षं व्यसृजद् राक्षसोरसि ।
शत्रुघ्नो वीर्यसंपन्नो विव्यथे न च राक्षसः ॥११॥
11. tato bāṇamayaṃ varṣaṃ vyasṛjad rākṣasorasi ,
śatrughno vīryasaṃpanno vivyathe na ca rākṣasaḥ.
11. tataḥ bāṇamayam varṣam vyasṛjat rākṣasa urasi
śatrughnaḥ vīryasampannaḥ vivyathe na ca rākṣasaḥ

11. Then, endowed with prowess, Shatrughna discharged a shower of arrows upon the demon's chest, but the demon was not pained.
