वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-45, verse-28

तस्यास्तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा प्रमृज्य नयने शुभे ।
तितीर्षुर्लक्ष्मणो गङ्गां शुभां नावमुपाहरत् ॥२८॥
28. tasyāstadvacanaṃ śrutvā pramṛjya nayane śubhe ,
titīrṣurlakṣmaṇo gaṅgāṃ śubhāṃ nāvamupāharat.

28. Having heard her words, and wiping his beautiful eyes, Lakṣmaṇa, desirous of crossing the Gaṅgā, brought forth an excellent boat.
