रक्षाम इति तत्रान्यैर्यक्षामेति तथापरैः ।
भुङ्क्षिताभुङ्क्षितैरुक्तस्ततस्तानाह भूतकृत् ॥१२॥

12. rakṣāma iti tatrānyairyakṣāmeti tathāparaiḥ ,
bhuṅkṣitābhuṅkṣitairuktastatastānāha bhūtakṛt.

| bhuṅkṣita-abhuṅkṣitaiḥ uktaḥ tataḥ tān āha bhūtakṛt

12. Some among them said, "Let us protect!" and others said, "Let us worship!" Addressed by those who had eaten and those who had not eaten, the creator of beings (Brahma) then spoke to them.
