वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-21, verse-22

तांस्तु सर्वान् समाक्षिप्य तदस्त्रमपहत्य च ।
जघ्नुस्ते राक्षसं घोरमेकं शतसहस्रकः ॥२२॥
22. tāṃstu sarvān samākṣipya tadastramapahatya ca ,
jaghnuste rākṣasaṃ ghoramekaṃ śatasahasrakaḥ.
22. tān tu sarvān samākṣipya tat astram apahatya ca
jaghnuḥ te rākṣasam ghoram ekam śatasahasrakaḥ
22. tu te śatasahasrakaḥ tān sarvān samākṣipya ca
tat astram apahatya ekam ghoram rākṣasam jaghnuḥ
22. But having completely warded off all those (weapons) and destroyed that missile, they—a hundred thousand (strong)—struck that one terrible demon.
