वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-21, verse-18

अन्योन्यं च महाभागा जघ्नुः प्रहरणैर्युधि ।
यमस्य च महत् सैन्यं राक्षसस्य च मन्त्रिणः ॥१८॥
18. anyonyaṃ ca mahābhāgā jaghnuḥ praharaṇairyudhi ,
yamasya ca mahat sainyaṃ rākṣasasya ca mantriṇaḥ.
18. anyonyam ca mahābhāgāḥ jaghnuḥ praharaṇaiḥ yudhi
yamasya ca mahat sainyam rākṣasasya ca mantriṇaḥ
18. And those noble ones (ministers) struck each other with weapons in battle. It was as if a great army of Yama and the rākṣasa's ministers (were engaged in mutual destruction).
