वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-97, verse-4

यमस्मै प्रथमं प्रादादगस्त्यो भगवानृषिः ।
ब्रह्मदत्तं महद्बाणममोघं युधि वीर्यवान् ॥४॥
4. yamasmai prathamaṃ prādādagastyo bhagavānṛṣiḥ ,
brahmadattaṃ mahadbāṇamamoghaṃ yudhi vīryavān.

brahmadattam mahat bāṇam amogham yudhi vīryavān
4. The revered sage Agastya, valorous in battle, had first given him (Rama) that great, infallible arrow, which was granted by Brahma.
