वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-34, verse-22

ये त्वन्ये राक्षसा वीरा रामस्याभिमुखे स्थिताः ।
ते ऽपि नष्टाः समासाद्य पतंगा इव पावकम् ॥२२॥
22. ye tvanye rākṣasā vīrā rāmasyābhimukhe sthitāḥ ,
te'pi naṣṭāḥ samāsādya pataṃgā iva pāvakam.
22. ye tu anye rākṣasāḥ vīrāḥ rāmasya abhimukhe sthitāḥ
te api naṣṭāḥ samāsādya pataṅgāḥ iva pāvakam
