rākṣasānāṃ ca sarveṣāmātmanaśca vadhena hi.

tat eṣā su-sthirā buddhiḥ mṛtyu-lobhāt
upasthitā bhayāt na śaktaḥ tvām

ca sarveṣām ātmanaḥ ca vadhena hi
upasthitā bhayāt na śaktaḥ tvām

tu saṃyuge a-nirastaḥ hi rākṣasānām ca sarveṣām ātmanaḥ ca vadhena (bhavati)

25.
Therefore, this exceedingly firm resolve (buddhi) has manifested due to his greed (lobha) for his own demise. He is unable to release you out of fear, and he will not be overthrown (anirasta) in battle without the destruction of all the rākṣasas and indeed, his own.
