वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-60, verse-15

हनूमता दत्तवरैर्हतं मधुवनं बलात् ।
वयं च जानुभिः कृष्टा देवमार्गं च दर्शिताः ॥१५॥
15. hanūmatā dattavarairhataṃ madhuvanaṃ balāt ,
vayaṃ ca jānubhiḥ kṛṣṭā devamārgaṃ ca darśitāḥ.

vayam ca jānubhiḥ kṛṣṭāḥ devamārgam ca darśitāḥ
15. hanūmatā dattavaraiḥ balāt madhuvanam hatam.
vayam ca jānubhiḥ kṛṣṭāḥ ca devamārgam darśitāḥ
15. The Madhuvana has been forcibly destroyed by those who received permission from (Hanumat)! And we ourselves were dragged by our knees and made to see the heavens.
