वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-40, verse-33

स पन्नगमिवादाय स्फुरन्तं विनतासुतः ।
विचचाराम्बरे वीरः परिगृह्य च मारुतिः ॥३३॥
33. sa pannagamivādāya sphurantaṃ vinatāsutaḥ ,
vicacārāmbare vīraḥ parigṛhya ca mārutiḥ.
33. sa pannagam iva ādāya sphurantam vinatāsutaḥ
vicacāra ambare vīraḥ parigṛhya ca mārutiḥ
33. saḥ vīraḥ mārutiḥ sphurantam pannagam iva

33. And that heroic son of Marut (Māruti), holding (the mace) as Vinatā's son (Garuda) would grasp a thrashing snake, moved about in the sky.
