न मां प्रार्थयितुं युक्तस्त्वं सिद्धिमिव पापकृत् ।

4. tvam pāpakṛt mām prārthayitum na yuktaḥ,
siddhim iva.

4. You, a wrongdoer (pāpakṛt), are not fit to seek me, just as a sinner is not fit for spiritual accomplishment (siddhi). An improper act, condemned by a woman devoted to one husband (ekapatnī), should not be done by me, who has attained a virtuous family and was born in a great lineage.
