वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-19, verse-30

गिरिं कुबेरस्य गतो ऽथ वालयं सभां गतो वा वरुणस्य राज्ञः ।
असंशयं दाशरथेर्न मोक्ष्यसे महाद्रुमः कालहतो ऽशनेरिव ॥३०॥
30. giriṃ kuberasya gato'tha vālayaṃ sabhāṃ gato vā varuṇasya rājñaḥ ,
asaṃśayaṃ dāśaratherna mokṣyase mahādrumaḥ kālahato'śaneriva.
30. giriṃ kuberasya gataḥ atha vālayam
sabhāṃ gataḥ vā varuṇasya rājñaḥ
asaṃśayam dāśaratheḥ na mokṣyase
mahādrumaḥ kālahataḥ aśaneḥ iva
30. kuberasya giriṃ gataḥ,

vā varuṇasya rājñaḥ sabhāṃ gataḥ asaṃśayam dāśaratheḥ na mokṣyase mahādrumaḥ kālahataḥ aśaneḥ iva
30. Even if you go to Kubera's mountain, or else to his abode, or to the assembly hall of King Varuna, you will undoubtedly not achieve liberation (mokṣa) from Dasharatha's son (Rama), just like a great tree struck by death and a thunderbolt cannot be freed.
