वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-10, verse-16

तस्यास्यात्तु प्रवृत्तेन रुधिरौघेण तद्बिलम् ।
पूर्णमासीद्दुराक्रामं स्तनतस्तस्य भूतले ॥१६॥
16. tasyāsyāttu pravṛttena rudhiraugheṇa tadbilam ,
pūrṇamāsīddurākrāmaṃ stanatastasya bhūtale.
16. tasya āsyāt tu pravṛttena rudhira-augheṇa tat
bilam pūrṇam āsīt durākrāmam stanataḥ tasya bhūtale
16. tu tasya āsyāt pravṛttena rudhira-augheṇa tat bilam pūrṇam durākrāmam āsīt.
tasya bhūtale stanataḥ (sati).
16. But from his mouth, by the gushing stream of blood, that cave became filled and difficult to cross, while he was roaring on the ground.
