वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-29, verse-21

ततः स पुरुषव्याघ्रस्तद्धनं सहलक्ष्मणः ।
द्विजेभ्यो बालवृद्धेभ्यः कृपणेभ्यो ऽभ्यदापयत् ॥२१॥
21. tataḥ sa puruṣavyāghrastaddhanaṃ sahalakṣmaṇaḥ ,
dvijebhyo bālavṛddhebhyaḥ kṛpaṇebhyo'bhyadāpayat.

21. Then, that best of men (puruṣavyāghra), accompanied by Lakshmana, caused that wealth to be distributed to the twice-born (dvija), to children and the elderly, and to the poor.
