महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-5, verse-5

तेऽब्रुवन्सहितास्तत्र राजानं सैन्यसंनिधौ ।
कृतयत्ना रणे राजन्संपूज्य विधिवत्तदा ॥५॥
5. te'bruvansahitāstatra rājānaṁ sainyasaṁnidhau ,
kṛtayatnā raṇe rājansaṁpūjya vidhivattadā.
5. te abruvan sahitāḥ tatra rājānam sainyasaṃnidhau
kṛtayātnāḥ raṇe rājan sampūjya vidhivat tadā
5. tadā raṇe kṛtayātnāḥ vidhivat sampūjya te sahitāḥ
tatra sainyasaṃnidhau rājānam abruvan rājan
5. Then, after having exerted themselves greatly in battle and having duly honored (sampūjya) the king, they (your sons), assembled there in the presence of the army, addressed the king: 'O King!'
