महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-25, verse-31

ततस्तु संवृतो भीमस्तावकैर्निशितैः शरैः ।
पीडयामास तान्सर्वान्सहस्राक्ष इवासुरान् ॥३१॥
31. tatastu saṁvṛto bhīmastāvakairniśitaiḥ śaraiḥ ,
pīḍayāmāsa tānsarvānsahasrākṣa ivāsurān.
31. tataḥ tu saṃvṛtaḥ bhīmaḥ tāvakaiḥ niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ
pīḍayāmāsa tān sarvān sahasrākṣaḥ iva asurān

tān sarvān sahasrākṣaḥ iva asurān pīḍayāmāsa
31. Then, Bhima, even though surrounded by your men's sharp arrows, tormented all of them, just as Indra (sahasrākṣa) would oppress the demons.
