महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-25, verse-12

ते हता न्यपतन्भूमौ स्यन्दनेभ्यो महारथाः ।
वसन्ते पुष्पशबला निकृत्ता इव किंशुकाः ॥१२॥
12. te hatā nyapatanbhūmau syandanebhyo mahārathāḥ ,
vasante puṣpaśabalā nikṛttā iva kiṁśukāḥ.

12. Struck down, those great chariot-warriors fell from their chariots to the ground, just like variegated Kiṃśuka trees, laden with flowers, are cut down in spring.
