महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-12, verse-23

तमुद्यतं रथेनैकमाशुकारिणमाहवे ।
अनेकमिव संत्रासान्मेनिरे पाण्डुसृञ्जयाः ॥२३॥
23. tamudyataṁ rathenaikamāśukāriṇamāhave ,
anekamiva saṁtrāsānmenire pāṇḍusṛñjayāḥ.
23. tam udyatam rathena ekam āśukāriṇam āhave
anekam iva saṃtrāsāt menire pāṇḍu-sṛñjayāḥ
23. pāṇḍu-sṛñjayāḥ āhave udyatam rathena ekam
āśukāriṇam tam saṃtrāsāt anekam iva menire
23. In battle, due to terror, the Pāṇḍavas and Sṛñjayas perceived that single warrior, swiftly acting in his chariot and ready for action, as if he were many.
