महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-87, verse-30

शरवर्षेण महता दुर्योधनमवाकिरत् ।
पर्वतं वारिधाराभिः प्रावृषीव बलाहकः ॥३०॥
30. śaravarṣeṇa mahatā duryodhanamavākirat ,
parvataṁ vāridhārābhiḥ prāvṛṣīva balāhakaḥ.

30. balāhakaḥ prāvṛṣi vāridhārābhiḥ parvatam iva (avākirat),

30. He then showered Duryodhana with a great volley of arrows, just as a thundercloud showers a mountain with torrents of water during the monsoon (prāvṛṣ).
