महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-87, verse-3

नदतस्तस्य शब्देन पृथिवी सागराम्बरा ।
सपर्वतवना राजंश्चचाल सुभृशं तदा ।
अन्तरिक्षं दिशश्चैव सर्वाश्च प्रदिशस्तथा ॥३॥
3. nadatastasya śabdena pṛthivī sāgarāmbarā ,
saparvatavanā rājaṁścacāla subhṛśaṁ tadā ,
antarikṣaṁ diśaścaiva sarvāśca pradiśastathā.

3. (Saṃjaya continued:) "O King, then, by the sound of his roaring, the earth, covered by oceans and encompassing mountains and forests, trembled very violently. The sky, all directions, and likewise all intermediate directions also (trembled)."
