महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-59, verse-11

ततः शैक्यायसीं गुर्वीं प्रगृह्य महतीं गदाम् ।
अवधीत्तावकान्योधान्दण्डपाणिरिवान्तकः ।
पोथयन्रथवृन्दानि वाजिवृन्दानि चाभिभूः ॥११॥
11. tataḥ śaikyāyasīṁ gurvīṁ pragṛhya mahatīṁ gadām ,
avadhīttāvakānyodhāndaṇḍapāṇirivāntakaḥ ,
pothayanrathavṛndāni vājivṛndāni cābhibhūḥ.

11. Then, grasping his massive, heavy, iron mace, he, the conqueror, struck down your (Kaurava) warriors, like Antaka (the god of death) holding his staff, crushing multitudes of chariots and multitudes of horses.
