महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-56, verse-28

एवंविधं कार्मुकभीमनादमदीनवत्सत्पुरुषोत्तमाभ्याम् ।
ददर्श लोकः कुरुसृञ्जयाश्च तद्द्वैरथं भीष्मधनंजयाभ्याम् ॥२८॥

dadarśa lokaḥ kurusṛñjayāśca; taddvairathaṁ bhīṣmadhanaṁjayābhyām.

28. The people, along with the Kurus and Sṛñjayas, witnessed that single combat between two chariots (dvairatha) involving Bhishma and Dhananjaya (Arjuna). It was of such a kind (evaṃvidham), filled with the terrible roar of their bows (kārmukabhīmanādam), and bravely fought (adīnavat) by those two best among noble men (satpuruṣottama).
