महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-57, verse-28

महावनमिव छिन्नं यदा द्रक्ष्यसि पातितम् ।
बलं कुरूणां संग्रामे तदा स्मर्तासि मे वचः ॥२८॥
28. mahāvanamiva chinnaṁ yadā drakṣyasi pātitam ,
balaṁ kurūṇāṁ saṁgrāme tadā smartāsi me vacaḥ.
28. mahāvanam iva chinnam yadā drakṣyasi pātitaṃ
balam kurūṇām saṃgrāme tadā smartā asi me vacaḥ
28. When you see the force of the Kurus struck down in battle, like a great forest that has been felled, then you will remember my words.
