महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-57, verse-16

अहं हि पाण्डवान्हत्वा प्रशास्ता पृथिवीमिमाम् ।
मां वा हत्वा पाण्डुपुत्रा भोक्तारः पृथिवीमिमाम् ॥१६॥
16. ahaṁ hi pāṇḍavānhatvā praśāstā pṛthivīmimām ,
māṁ vā hatvā pāṇḍuputrā bhoktāraḥ pṛthivīmimām.
16. aham hi pāṇḍavān hatvā praśāstā pṛthivīm imām |
mām vā hatvā pāṇḍuputrāḥ bhoktāraḥ pṛthivīm imām
16. Indeed, either I will rule this earth after killing the Pāṇḍavas, or the sons of Pāṇḍu will possess this earth after killing me.
