महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-23, verse-18

कच्चिद्राजा धृतराष्ट्रः सपुत्रो बुभूषते वृत्तिममात्यवर्गे ।
कच्चिन्न भेदेन जिजीविषन्ति सुहृद्रूपा दुर्हृदश्चैकमित्राः ॥१८॥
18. kaccidrājā dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ saputro; bubhūṣate vṛttimamātyavarge ,
kaccinna bhedena jijīviṣanti; suhṛdrūpā durhṛdaścaikamitrāḥ.
18. kaccit rājā dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ sa-putraḥ
bubhūṣate vṛttim amātya-varge
kaccit na bhedena jijīviṣanti
suhṛt-rūpāḥ durhṛdaḥ ca eka-mitrāḥ
18. I hope that King Dhṛtarāṣṭra, along with his sons, desires to maintain the livelihood of the ministerial class. I also hope that those who merely appear as friends but are actually enemies, and who share common friends, do not seek to live by creating division (bheda).
