ततः सूतोऽजहात्प्राणान्रामबाणप्रपीडितः ।
मुहूर्तादिव राजेन्द्र मां च भीराविशत्तदा ॥५॥

5. Then, afflicted by Rama's arrows, the charioteer gave up his life (prāṇa) as if in an instant, O King (rājendra); and then, fear seized me.
