महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-183, verse-20

ततो जगाम वसुधां बाणवेगप्रपीडितः ।
जानुभ्यां धनुरुत्सृज्य रामो मोहवशं गतः ॥२०॥
20. tato jagāma vasudhāṁ bāṇavegaprapīḍitaḥ ,
jānubhyāṁ dhanurutsṛjya rāmo mohavaśaṁ gataḥ.
20. tataḥ jagāma vasudhām bāṇavegaprapīḍitaḥ
jānubhyām dhanuḥ utsṛjya rāmaḥ mohavaśam gataḥ
20. tataḥ rāmaḥ bāṇavegaprapīḍitaḥ dhanuḥ utsṛjya
jānubhyām vasudhām jagāma mohavaśam gataḥ
20. Then Rama, afflicted by the force of the arrow, collapsed to the ground on his knees, having dropped his bow and fallen into a state of unconsciousness.
